“I am very happy with everything…. I built the garage virtually single handed with about 5 days of help from others which included connecting up and testing the electrics and it’s taken 18 months really, working weekends and evenings and learning along the way for example I’d never tiled a roof before.
Due to the site I could not really use plant. I hired a lift/hoist to get the beams into position, it worked well on the concrete raft floor. I have gone a bit beyond the original fit out inside as you can see, but its made a great working space. I epoxy coated the garage floor which was definitely worth the effort and money as the finish makes it really easy to keep tidy.
The quality of the drawings and the oak frame product supplied was excellent. The amount of soft wood supplied, whilst this has also enabled me to fit out the garage internally (and then some) it initially took me by surprise and posed a minor storage problem. Very much an unexpected positive in the end.”

The double garage serves two purposes 1. as a double garage come storage areas and 2. as a packing shed when we need more space. So we are definitely using all areas to the best advantage and probably more. Upstairs is also being used not only as a gaming room but as a storage area for our business.
We sit outside quite a bit and really enjoy sitting in the double chair looking at the garden knowing we built this ourselves (husband and his brother hahah)

“The outbuilding is now 95% finished, just a few little touching up items required plus external frame acid clean.
Myself and 2 carpenters did all the frame work, windows, doors, roof (and tiling) and found the whole process thoroughly enjoyable and very easy to follow your build notes.
The quality of the oak, the softwood, windows and doors were outstanding. I have been in the construction industry over 35 years now and I really could not fault your product.

“You recently supplied me with a 3 Bay Byton Low Ridge Garage. The garage was ‘supply only’ with the construction being completed by me and a local joiner. The garage you supplied is now completed and I thought I would write to let you know how pleased we are with the finished product. The frame was very well manufactured, all the bits were supplied and it went up with a minimum amount of difficulty. The softwood cladding and spars were of good quality and even my joiner (not a man who is easily impressed!) commented on the quality and ‘straightness’ of the soft wood timbers. We were also pleasantly surprised by how generous the timber supply was. There was plenty to do the job and a few extras in case we made some mistakes. Not something you get with most ‘kits’. The end product looks really good and has received many complementary comments from those that have seen it. My only concern is that the garage looks so good, that it makes the rest of the buildings that surround it look somewhat drab and ordinary!
